Welcome to our article on the Additional Insured COI Feature!

The Additional Insured feature is a critical enhancement that allows property management companies to list additional insured entities required specifically at the RFQ and job level, ensuring compliance with specific insurance requirements set by PMCs.

Enabling the addition of additional insured entities, the feature helps manage risks and enhance liability coverage, providing added legal and financial protection for both vendors and PMCs.

Adding and Managing Property Entities

Adding Entities

  • New Properties - Entities can be added when creating a new property - by accessing the Additional Insured Entities section and using the option to add additional insured entities

  • Existing Properties - You can contact your account manager to add entities to your existing property.

Viewing Entities

  • Entities associated with a property can be viewed through the property’s details page

Editing Entities

  • You can contact your account manager to update entities on your property.

Additional Insured is enabled by adding entities to your property and you can choose not to include an additional insured entity to a property.

How are standard compliance requirements different from RFQ-level requirements?

PMC-level requirements

These are the mandatory blanket requirements a vendor must meet to become compliant.

RFQ-level requirements

These requirements for additional insured entities are specific to individual properties and RFQs. They are tailored to each job and include additional insured entities as needed by the asset owner.

Both requirements are listed on the RFQ page post-award.

Viewing job status and documents of an RFQ-level requirement

View Job Status

This status is visible on the RFQ details page, indicating whether the vendor has met the PMC-level and RFQ-level requirements.

View Vendor Documents

Click the 'View documents' button in the awarded vendor section on the RFQ page.

Submit Additional Insured COI for vendors

You can submit from the RFQ page by clicking the 'View documents' button in the awarded vendor section, then use the 'Upload for vendor' option on the pop-up.
