Step 1: Open the Quote Request Notification Email
When you receive a quote request invitation or an open bid, you will be notified via email.
Listed on the email will be basic information such as the PM Name, Company Name,
Service Category, and deadline. There will be a button on the email that says “Review Quote Request”. Click here, and if you’re already logged into VendorPM on that device, you’ll be taken directly to the quote request.
Step 2: Open the Quote Request and Review the Details
Start by opening the quote request and reading all the provided information. Key details such as service category, location, submission deadline, and scope of work will help you decide whether this is a project you want to quote on. The most important information is highlighted for easy reference.
Step 3: Accept or Decline the Invitation
After reviewing the details, decide if this is a project you can realistically quote for. You’ll need to accept or decline the invitation accordingly.
Step 4: Contact the Property Manager
If you accept the invitation, you’ll gain access to all the project information, which includes the property manager’s contact details. Reach out to the PM using their preferred method, introduce yourself, arrange a site visit if needed, or ask any questions you may have about the project.
